The CR2’s enclosure measures 9.25 x 16 x 12.5 inches and weighs 35 lbs.  It is made of 1” thick high quality MDF and is heavily braced on the inside making it incredibly rigid to reduce cabinet resonances.  LoVetri Acoustics uses modern CNC (computer numeric cutting) machines which are set at tolerance levels unachievable in the past making for perfect design execution and consistency.

LoVetri Acoustics has spent a great deal of time testing different types of damping material for use inside of the enclosures.  Damping material absorbs sound that would otherwise bounce around the box and back to the diaphragm and is important for smooth response. 

The damping materials and shape used in our speakers also provide our customers with easier room integration.
